Council of Heritage Organizations in Ottawa (CHOO/COPO)

The Council of Heritage Organizations in Ottawa is the sole umbrella organization providing active and effective networking for the entire heritage community in Ottawa. On behalf of our members and for the good of all Ottawa citizens, we work to promote responsible municipal stewardship and to preserve and celebrate local heritage resources. Our activities include: advocacy, outreach, program delivery, member services, and partnerships with the city government, other levels of government, like-minded community-based associations, and the private sector. CHOO/COPO strives to enrich the quality of life, active civic memory, and the diverse community identities in Ottawa.
