Preston Street in Ottawa was named after John Honey Preston, City Treasurer. The City of Ottawa, Central Archives, provided this information after consulting the books, Ottawa Old and New by Lucien Brault 1946 and Ottawa Past and Present by A.H.D. Ross 1927.
